Siargao Islands in the Philippines
Siargao is a tear-drop shaped island in the Philippine Sea situated 800 kilometers southeast of Manila in the province of Surigao del Norte.
Siargao is home to the Philippines’s largest mangrove forest reserves, located in Del Carmen municipality. There are tons of activities in which one can partake in this area alone, such as wildlife tours and kayaking through the forest. Countless other attractions have developed all over Siargao, on account of the rapid tourism increase in recent years.
